    Auto Glass - Orlando, Florida

If you are looking for replacement or repair of your auto glass, Orlando Florida is a great place to be, that may sound a bit strange but nevertheless it is true. I can tell you from personal experience because I had to get my auto glass repaired just last week. The troubles began on a Saturday afternoon grocery excursion.

As I drove out of the parking lot, I noticed what I thought was a shadow on my windshield. At first, I thought it was dirt - small, dark and distorted. It could be dirt, I hoped. However, upon closer inspection and a call to hubby, hope waned and a chip in the glass and a possibly costly problem replaced my silent prayer for dirt.

"For the life of me I do not recall hitting anything, no pang, click, ping nor the urge to duck down and avoid any oncoming debris!" My husband thought that was a riot!

"Glad you think it's funny." I snapped back which made him laugh more, so I gave up on it, going instead for information on what to do now. I could bring the car home, but I would risk making things worse by driving around in pothole city otherwise referred to as our neighborhood after a snowstorm.

When you need a specialist in repair of auto glass, Orlando Florida, you should check out Google Maps. You can quickly find some of the best in the business with this type of search that is what my hubby has said on numerous occasions. Usually while trying to explain some technical automotive term to me! Still I was concerned as I talked to him on my mobile phone, and no I was not driving and talking on the phone. I gave the windshield a once over again, but sure enough it was still damaged.

I assured the tech that it must have happened in the last few days.

During the workweek, I had not noticed the chip so it could have only happened over the past weekend. The CD player had been playing pretty loudly, its loud when the windows rattle right? Nickelback was jamming through the speakers as I flew down the road so it was possible that the chip occurred then. I never would have heard a small peck as I listened to my tunes, of course, I was also singing quite loud and just a little off key.

Truth be told there could have been a bomb explosion on the roadside and I would not have heard anything but the music! Another fact that sent my hubby rolling. When faced with a stressful situation my mind generally focuses on the small strange or trivial details of life, such as this chip getting bigger because of temperature change or rough potholes. Time, it seemed was working against me adding to the stress level.

I carefully headed for the address my Tom-tom had given me for auto glass Orlando Florida shop nearest me. I slowly picked my way through residential streets being very careful not to crack my windshield further. At the moment, it was a mere chip but my mind just knew that at any second that little shadow was going to be a huge problem! No on my watch!

"Getting your auto glass replaced or repaired is very easy. It can usually be repaired if you don't waste a ton of time between the initial incident and the repair," Hubby intoned over my speaker phone. "Just keep driving."

He was calm and assured however, I knew that there was a huge snow coming complete with sub-zero temps, I calmly explained this to my husband pointing out this was probably a good example of severe temperature changes that would worsen the chip in the glass to a full-blown crack!

Reason aside I simply wanted to get the windshield fixed, replaced or in intensive care before the temperature went arctic. My hubby comforted me by saying for repairing auto glass, Orlando Florida is a great place to be. This was good news since I swear I could hear that chip pinging, ready to erupt into a massive spider web across my windshield. Well, maybe not, but the point is it needed fixed.
